Last Year's Birthday Celebration - Happy 21st Birthday Tyler!

Yep, I'm old. Don't even try to hide it hahaha but yeah, it's all good here. It's kind of weird because it doesn't feel like my birthday. Elder Kesler was nice enough to make pancakes for me this morning, he surprised me with it.

Yeah we are working hard. Getting it done. We are working with a kid named David. He and his mom are going to be baptized the 7th. It will be great.

The tough times are always what help us most. I still remember that brother from China in our ward, the one you and I home taught, when he said in fast and testimony meeting that it is the obstacles that help us to fly talking about aerospace dynamics. I bet you thought I wasn't listening didn't you hahaha. It is the opposition that makes us stronger, it's great. I know why we go through problems and I learn more and more about it the more problems I go through but it's great.

Singing is one of the few things I miss. I want to come back home and get into music right away if possible. I miss being in good choirs. Here in Latin America no one really sings. It's hard, but I'll be back and singing in no time. I love music and I miss it, but all things will be restored to their natural order.

By the way, I pulled out money cause my shoes were destroyed so I bought new shoes, and I needed money to get medicine for an ear infection last week. The medication they told me to get was pretty expensive so my money ran out.

But yeah. Everything is going well here. My comp and I are working hard, it's great. I love it. We are doing well here. working hard.

Yay for the wedding. I'll be there! And now I have my flight plans way ahead of everyone else hahaha. And I'm glad I will still get to participate in all the ending mission stuff. I absolutely love President. He is such a great guy. He is awesome.

It's cool you're teaching about space in school. I absolutely love thinking about the stars and the Lord's realm. I'm looking forward to going back to college and being able to study more about space and how to move around inside of it. Being on the mission has really given me a love for learning. I absolutely love it. I want to know about everything, well everything except math, but unfortunately I will have to take math as well, but that's ok. You gotta do what ya gotta do, and I miss learning about history. I love history. I look forward to that too.

Well, I really don't have much more time but I love you and I'm grateful for all the sacrifices you make for me. I am grateful for your prayers and after the letters today, and well last night I took the determination to work past my own capabilities. As a wise man once told me, talking about May-mester at Snow College, "you can do anything for a month." Well if you can do it for a month, you can do it for three, and that's just how much time I have left. So I'm gonna push it to the limit. I'll come home and go to bed and wake up for the wedding deal then sleep for a week straight.

Well, I love hearing from you and I'm ready to kick butt, but thanks for writing. I love hearing from you as always and I'm super grateful for all you do for me.

March 7th

So Tuesday of last week (the day after we wrote you) they told us we were going to the temple and we would not have p-day on Monday. So Tuesday we went to the temple. They said that we should be in the bus terminal at 11:30pm. Elder Ayola, Elder Edwards, Elder Kesler and I arrived a little early, and waited. The zone leaders ended up getting there about midnight and told us that now we had to buy the tickets so we went to the window of the line the mission always has us take. The next bus was leaving at three in the morning. So we ended up looking for a line that would leave sooner. We found one and bought the tickets. Elder Edwards bought my ticket. He's great. We got on the bus and traveled to Asuncion todo tranquilo. Got to the terminal and then the zone leaders didn't know how we were going to get to the temple. We went looking for intercity buses at 6 in the morning, the busiest, time of the day. Hoping to get more than 20 missionaries on the same bus. Elder Edwards, Elder Kesler, Elder Ayola and I went and got a taxi instead. We got to the temple and went through our session which was great and I absolutely loved it it was great. I love the temple. (cont. in next paragraph) On with the story. After the temple, we went to go get lunch cause it was now noon and last time we had eaten was noon the day before. So rolls around 1 o´clock and the phone rings, I answer it and the zone leaders say "Why aren't you in the mission office. You have to be here now." We knew nothing of this. We start looking for a colectivo (bus) to get to the mission office. We finally get to the office 2 o´clock they give us 2 boxes of Books of Mormon and say "Your collectivo leaves at 2:30 or 3." So we go to get on the collectivo headed to the terminal that they told us. We get to the terminal. I knew which collectivo we were suposed to take home, so I pulled out 300,000 guaraniis of personal money (sorry) and go to the window to buy the tickets for me, my comp, and Elder Edwards and his comp. I get there and buy the tickets, get on the buss and off to Ciudad del Este again.

I love the temple. I absolutely love it. After the mission when I'm at college this is going to be my schedule. 7 wake up 7:30 study the scripture for an hour 8:30 look for family history for an hour 9:30 go to class. 2:30 or something like that go home eat etc. 3:30 go to the temple for like 3 hours 6:30 eat dinner and do homework 8:30 play video games 10:30 sleep. It's going to be awesome. I absolutely love the temple. I'm so excited to be able to go more when I get back.

But I got to go work but I love ya tons and I miss you. I'll write more next week.

February 27th

Unfortunately I have to be brief today. I did get changed. I'm now in Henandarius near Cuidad del Este. It's pretty well city with a lot of people that are well off and others that aren't so well off. I'm with Elder Ayola. A Colombian.

Thanks for always being so faithfull in writing. I'm sorry that I am unable to write you more. I hope to be able to write more next week but I love you tons.
